The Industry Lounge Chair is another piece by the design duo Neri & Hu for Stellar Works. It is designed to be a simple, accessible, and comfortable chair that works equally well in a modern apartment or a busy commercial lobby.
A simple, architectural framework made of powder-coated steel (usually matte black). It is slender but sturdy, giving the chair a lightweight visual profile. It features a cantilevered-style appearance where the seat and backrest "float" within the metal cage.
The seat and back are formed from a polypropylene shell that is fully upholstered. The curves are gentle and ergonomic, offering surprising comfort despite the chair's somewhat rigid, boxy look.
