Collection: Massproductions

Massproductions is a contemporary Swedish furniture company founded in 2009 by designers Magnus Elebäck (CEO) and Chris Martin (Design Director).

Their history stems from a decade of collaboration as design consultants to the furniture industry, where they worked with major clients. This experience led them to a shared vision: to create a furniture company that focuses on a neo-modernist, functional, and elegant design approach, directly controlling the production process.

The name "Massproductions" itself alludes to their belief in the beauty of efficient, sustainable, high-quality industrial production. They emphasize working closely with engineers and machine operators at their manufacturing facilities (primarily in southern Sweden and northwestern Poland) to ensure the integrity of their design vision. This vertical integration allows them to produce designs that might otherwise be difficult to realize.

Massproductions gained significant recognition with their debut product, the Tio chair, in 2009. The Tio chair, known for its minimalist design and efficient use of material, quickly garnered awards and is now part of the permanent collection of the Swedish National Museum of Arts.

Their philosophy centers on "obvious design" – creating products where form is a byproduct of function, materials, and production processes. They aim for long-lasting cultural value in their furniture, prioritizing durability and timeless aesthetics over fast trends. Massproductions is also committed to sustainability, focusing on efficient material use, responsible sourcing, and designing for longevity and recyclability.

Today, Massproductions continues to expand its collection of highly adaptable and multifunctional furniture, working with architects and designers worldwide for both residential and commercial projects.
