Crafted from a single, circular piece of Bianco Carrara marble that has been carved to create a shallow, smooth-edged depression, this fruit bowl is hand-finished by Salvatori's craftsmen in our Tuscan workshop. Available also in a smaller version, it is an elegant, eye-catching centerpiece, perfect for the dining table, kitchen bench top or a coffee table. The bowl's deceptively simple shape was achieved through Pawson's rigorous approach to the simplicity of form, materiality, function, geometry and proportion. The Ellipse collection is a family of vessels and utensils for the home designed by long-time Salvatori collaborator John Pawson.
